This pump can be programmed to deliver medication at a constant rate and/or allow deliver of bolus dose at a specified time interval. This pump provides measured drug therapy to patients in hospital or outpatient settings.
The PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia) delivery mode is used for therapies that require a continuous rate of infusion, patient-controlled demand doses, or both, such as patient-controlled analgesia.
The Continuous delivery mode allows the infusion of drug at a constant, programmed rate.
The TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) delivery mode allows the infusion of nutritional solutions or other fluids, with optional tapering at the beginning and end of infusion.
The Intermittent delivery mode allows the infusion of a specific volume of drug at a regular, programmed interval.

How often should I service my pump? While some manufacturers recommendations vary on service intervals, we recommend to have your device serviced annually to ensure the accuracy and safety of the device.
What batteries should I use with this pump? We recommend Duracell Procell 9 volt batteries for use in this pump.
What should I use to clean the pump with? We recommend to use Isopropol alcohol and a Magic Eraser for removal of sticker residue and stains. Dissolve it and Goo Gone work well also. For decontamination we recommend using Cavicide wipes. Do not ever immerse your equipment in water!!! Always spray on a towel or cloth then wipe down.
